Children's Yoga Classes
Experience the playful side of yoga!  This class is designed for
children ages 3-5yrs with their caregivers.  Classes will
provide a fun introduction to yoga in a loving environment.  
Children will use breath work, basic poses, games and
meditation to move energy through the body and calm the
mind.
A few of the many benefits of yoga for children are:
•        Increased strength and flexibility
•        Improved coordination and balance
•        Improved concentration and attention
•        Increased body awareness
•        Increased body-mind connection
•        Increased respect for self and others
•        Overall sense of well being

Please bring one mat for each child.  Dress for movement and
bring a water bottle.

Classes will be taught by Certified ChildLight Yoga Instructor
Lexa Chernin. Lexa's journey to teach yoga to children began
when she couldn’t find a class for her own two sons.  On a
suggestion from her instructor, she enrolled in a teacher
training.  Combining her passion for yoga and love of children,
she began teaching yoga at a local preschool.  Seeing the
excitement of her students further deepened her own
enthusiasm for teaching.  Lexa is thrilled to bring yoga to We
Kids Rock!
